PRODUCT

The 5 Star Modular Wall Systems are a Combination of technology and hardware that has been proven over decades of applications. The systems are modular by design, and tailored specifically for each area of application for a finished appearance.

APPLICATION

The 5 Star Modular Wall Systems are designed with openings through which one or more pieces of equipment may be recessed. The Modular Wall forms an enclosure, concealing the equipment body, wiring and piping behind the front panel, and functionally prevents excessive heat, noise and steam vapor from escaping into work areas.

CONSTRUCTION

All materials used in construction of each modular wall shall be free from defects, open corners, sharp edges, burs, and imperfections which might affect the safety, serviceability and appearance of the finished assembly. Each panel, trim strip, and access door used in construction of the modular wall shall be made of stainless steel. Panels and trim shall be 18-gauge stainless steel. Access doors shall have an 18-gauge outer panel and an 18-gauge stainless steel inner panel. Each panel comes with a smooth surface finish, with consistent grain directions giving the modular wall a uniform appearance.

DESIGN

The Modular Wall System consists of structural; vertical primary panels with a horizontal header support and a floor mounted receiving channel. Secondary shearing panels are provided to enclose the back side of the primary panels for a finished appearance (optional). Stainless steel trim strips are provided to conceal clearance openings and provide adjustment between the wall assembly and the building finished ceiling, and walls. Each primary panel is securely bolted to the header channel, receiving channel and to the adjacent panel or panels.

COMPONENTS

PRIMARY PANELS
Primary Panels are vertical components with mounting features provided at spaced intervals along each vertical sidewall to facilitate bolting to the adjacent panel(s).

SUPPORT & RECEIVING CHANNEL
Support and receiving channels are on piece stainless steel construction. The support and receiving channels are secured to the walls and the floor using 1/4" concrete expansion anchors.

SECONDARY SHEARING PANELS
Secondary shearing panels are provided to enclose the insulation and the back side of the primary panels. Panels are 18-gauge stainless steel and are secured to the primary panels by 1/8" diameter steel rivets.

INSULATED CONSTRUCTION
Each panel is box-shaped and can be insulated on the inside with moisture resistant, asbestos free, sound-deading commercial grade insulation.

STAINLESS STEEL ACCESS DOOR
Wall system is provided with a 36" wide x 80" high stainless steel access door with stainless steel hardware. The door is designed with double wall construction and insulated. Custom widths and heights are available upon request. Custom door sizes and quantities required must be specified.

LOUVER VENTS
Wall panels are provided with integral stainless steel louver vent. Vent shall be Titus model 350RL-SS with 3/4" blade spacing and 35° deflection. The grille is roll formed 304 stainless steel border and blades. Other vents, steamhoods, etc., available upon request.

SEISMIC ANCHORING
The modular wall system shall be installed per local seismic codes. Wall structure is secured using custom made stainless steel struts mounted to the header channel and to the existing building structure.

WARRANTY
The 5 Star Modular Wall System is warranted for one year from the date of installation for material and workmanship. Wall damage beyond the control of 5 Star or damage after the installation period is not covered under warranty.
